Council of Young Scientists

Composition of the Council of Young Scientists of the Institute of Mechanics and Engineering named after academician U.A. Dzholdasbekova The Goal of creating the Council of Young Scientists is to actively involve young scientists in fundamental and applied research of the Institute, promote the scientific and professional growth of young scientists and specialists, and support their research activities. Main objectives of the Council of Young Scientists

1. Promotion of professional growth of young scientists of the Institute.
2. Support and coordination of activities aimed at developing scientific initiatives of young scientists of the Institute, promoting their scientific and career growth, attracting young scientists to work in various departments of the Institute.
3. Representation and protection of the interests of young scientists of the Institute in the Academic Council of the Institute and the Directorate of the Institute; expression of the opinion of young scientists of the Institute on various aspects of professional activity and social security.

Main areas of activity of the Council of Young Scientists

1. Organization of scientific conferences, seminars, symposiums with the participation of young scientists of the Institute.
2. Submission to the Scientific Council and the Directorate of the Institute of references, notes describing scientific and social problems facing young scientists of the Institute, the solution of which requires the adoption of measures by the Academic Council and the Directorate of the Institute.
3. Assistance in organizing an independent examination of the results of scientific research of young scientists, combining the efforts of young scientists to develop priority areas and topics of scientific research at the Institute.
4. Providing organizational and methodological support to young scientists of the Institute in the publication of scientific works in periodicals and scientific collections.
5. Dissemination of information about funds that provide grant support to young scientists, providing scholarships and other targeted funds to stimulate research, creative and educational activities, conduct internships and implement the results of scientific developments.
6. Organizing and ensuring the participation of young scientists of the Institute in scientific work competitions; participation in the discussion of competitive works.
7. Providing assistance in organizing trips for young scientists of the Institute to conferences, internships or scientific trips. Petition to the Directorate of the Institute to send young scientists of the Institute to participate in scientific conferences, internships or scientific trips.
8. Dissemination of information about the activities of the Council, ongoing events, decisions made, best practices, available opportunities to increase the effectiveness of scientific research and exchange of experience on the pages of periodicals, on information stands, on the Institute’s website.
9. Creation and maintenance of an information bank of young scientists; establishing and maintaining contacts with them in order to conduct joint projects and organize scientific research.
