On April 24, 2026, the V International Scientific and Practical Conference “SCIENCE & BUSINESS” was held at the National Academy of Sciences under the President of the Republic of Kazakhstan, bringing together representatives of academia, business, government bodies, and the international expert community.

The event was devoted to topical issues of science development, expanding cooperation between science and business, as well as improving mechanisms for commercializing the results of scientific and scientific-technical activities.

Within the conference, Joldasbekov Institute of Mechanics and Engineering (JIME)  presented its scientific developments aimed at practical implementation. Conference participants became acquainted with innovations in the fields of the food, nuclear, and manufacturing industries, as well as digital technologies and robotic systems.

The holding of the SCIENCE & BUSINESS conference confirmed the high level of interest in the development of an effective model of interaction between science, business and the state and became a practical step in the formation of an ecosystem of commercialization of scientific developments in the Republic of Kazakhstan.
