On May 15, 2025, the Institute of Mechanics and Machine Science named after Academician Ö.A. Zholdasbekov hosted the 3rd International Scientific Seminar entitled “Prospects for the Development of Mechanical Engineering and Robotics in the Context of International Cooperation,” organized by the Technology Commercialization Office (TCO).

The seminar was attended by domestic scientists of the Institute of Mechanics and Machine Science, as well as representatives of the Shenyang Institute of Automation of the Chinese Academy of Sciences (PRC).

The key event of the seminar was the round table discussion “Science and Technology: Cooperation and Transfer,” during which issues of international scientific and technical cooperation between the Institute of Mechanics and Machine Science named after Academician Ö.A. Zholdasbekov and the Shenyang Institute of Automation were discussed, particularly in the fields of industrial automation and robotics.

During the seminar, domestic scientists and guests from China delivered presentations on current trends in mechanical engineering, robotics, and industrial automation. In addition, focused working discussions were held to address specific scientific and technical challenges in the field of robotization and automation of industrial processes.

The seminar contributed to strengthening international scientific ties, facilitating the exchange of experience, and identifying promising areas for future cooperation in the development of high-tech industrial solutions.
