The international scientific and practical conference dedicated to the prominent representative of Kazakh science, Doctor of Technical Sciences, Professor Rysbek Baimakhanuly, was organized at a high level.
This representative meeting, held on the initiative of QyzPU and the Institute of Mechanics and Machine Science named after Academician Ö.A. Zholdasbekov, became not only a stimulus for the development of the scientific field, but also a meaningful scientific platform that provided guidance for young researchers.
At the conference titled “Geomechanical Processes and Digitalization: Innovative Technologies and Development Prospects”, topical issues of geomechanics, new ideas, and the continuity of the scientific school founded by Professor Rysbek Baimakhanuly were comprehensively discussed.
Professor Rysbek Baimakhanuly is a highly respected figure known not only in Kazakhstan, but also in the international scientific community. At the Institute of Mechanics and Machine Science named after Academician Ö.A. Zholdasbekov, he worked diligently from an engineering position up to the level of senior research scientist, conducting fundamental scientific research. In addition, he served at the Kazakh National Women’s Pedagogical University for nearly half a century, making an invaluable contribution to the development of education and science.
The scientist, who is the author of more than 450 scientific works, is a recognized specialist in the field of computer and mathematical modeling of geomechanical and natural processes using modern digital methods.
The event was attended by well-known scientists, academicians, professors, young scientists and researchers, as well as relatives of the scholar. During the sectional sessions, more than 30 reports were presented, and the best works were awarded special diplomas.
Within the framework of the conference, a video presentation highlighting the professor’s life path and scientific heritage was shown, and his students recited dedication poems. In particular, the “Best Young Researcher” awards were regarded as important support that encourages young scientists to publish scientific articles and conduct new research.
This conference is remembered not only as a meaningful intersection of science and respect, but also as an important scientific platform that gave new impetus to the future development of geomechanics. There is strong confidence that the rich scientific heritage of Professor Rysbek Baimakhanuly will serve as an example for many generations and expand the horizons of science.
As a result of the conference, a collection titled “International Scientific and Practical Conference ‘Geomechanical Processes and Digitalization: Innovative Technologies and Development Prospects’ Dedicated to the Honor of the Prominent Scientist, Doctor of Technical Sciences, Professor Rysbek Baimakhan Rysbek Baimakhanuly” was published.
