On March 26, 2026 JIME researchers Seidakhmet A.Zh., Ibraev S.M. and Kuatova M.Zh. made a working trip to production enterprise SaryarkaAvtoProm LLP in Kostanay.

The purpose of the trip was to develop cooperation and promote the results of scientific research activities.

SaryarkaAvtoProm LLP is the largest automobile manufacturing company in Kazakhstan.

During the visit, a presentation of tests of the MRTK-4 mobile robot, developed under the Results-based budgeting project “Development of robots, scientific, technical and software provision for flexible robotics and industrial automation (RPA) of automotive enterprises in Kazakhstan based on artificial intelligence”, was held. Principal Investigator of this project is Academician of the National Academy of Sciences of the Republic of Kazakhstan A.K. Tuleshov. The meeting participants were shown the results of preliminary tests of the MRTK–4 mobile robot at the Institute, its key technical characteristics and application possibilities in production.

During the trip, special attention was paid to the organization of further tests at the site of the automobile plant. The staff of the institute, together with representatives of the enterprise, examined the production and auxiliary premises, potentially suitable for conducting experimental work and testing of the mobile robot in conditions close to real operation. Following the visit, the parties expressed interest in further cooperation and development of joint initiatives in the field of introducing robotic solutions into production processes.
