As part of the implementation of scientific project AP22783377, “Fundamental Challenges in Developing Advanced 3D-Printing-Based Systems for Chemical and Hydrometallurgical Industries with Enhanced Strength and Wear Resistance,” the project leader, A.T. Khabiev, Deputy General Director for Science at Joldasbekov Institute of Mechanics and Engineering (JIME), visited the Faculty of Mechanical Engineering at Shaanxi University of Technology in Hanzhong, People’s Republic of China.

The working visit, which took place from October 2 to 7, 2026, aimed to strengthen international scientific ties, exchange research experience, and develop cooperation in advanced technologies for the chemical and hydrometallurgical industries.

During meetings with university representatives, the participants discussed opportunities for conducting joint scientific research, applying 3D-printing technologies to the development of equipment with enhanced strength and wear resistance, and prospects for preparing joint scientific publications.
